Hello,
I recently ran a small test based on our deployment strategy for Symantec Endpoint Protection that included remotely pushing a client package to a system that already had Symantec installed. This shouldn't be a problem in actual deployment because the systems will report back what Anti-virus they are running prior to pushing the install files, but we wanted to see what would happen should that scenario arise.
That system didn't like it and now the SEPM is reporting what appears to be a failed/roll-back icon (down arrow with a small x in the top-right corner). The system itself is not showing Symantec Endpoint Protection installed anywhere now. We have tried restarting the system numerous times and we have also tried to manually install the SEP client again, but no change. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
