Recently upgraded from 12.1.2 to 12.1.3 a two node Microsoft SQL Cluster.
Applied updates to Node 2. After reboot, Network Connections become unavailable.
Immediately change Firewall policies to a weaker policy that was held over from previous troubleshooting.
Node 2 immediately comes back online.
Move all Services and applications to node 2, start applying upgrade to Node 1.
Reboot Node 1, Network Connections are unavailable and remain unavailable to this point.
Same Firewall policies on Node 1 and Node 2.
Ran Cluster Validation on Network Connections, pass.
Ping between nodes of cluster, both thru san, heartbeat and main network connection, pass.
Symantec support, advised to remove Symantec client, problem persists after removal.
Symantec support disavows responsibility.
Cluster limping along on one node. Check.
Pulling my hair trying to figure this out. Check.
I REALLY don't want to evict my node and start over. Please help.
