I am trying to troubleshoot why my clients are getting blocked by our proxy servers while trying to submit file reputation info an the like, Currently they try every 3 hours
My question: Is there a way to force the submission process?
This would usfull so I can speed up the testing process.
Below is the logs from the client.
28/11/2013 7:53:32 a.m. Warning [Intrusion prevention submission] Submitting information to Symantec failed.
28/11/2013 7:53:31 a.m. Warning [Intrusion prevention submission] Submitting information to Symantec failed.
28/11/2013 7:43:04 a.m. Warning [Client authentication token request] Submitting information to Symantec failed.
In case you are wondering, yes I have entered the proxy settings under the policy "External Communication Settings"
Also as a side note for Symantec, it would be nice if they could include the option to use NT LAN Manager in the "External Communication Settings" like they do for live update policy as our proxy requires NTLM auth and live update works perfect.
