SEP Urgent Queries

Hello all,

I hope you are doing good . I have some queries regarding SEP 12.1.x unmanaged client licensing.

• If I dont use a purchase license with an unmanaged client what is gonna happen ? it wont download live updates ?
   
• For example if I have purchased 50 licenses How can i ensure or make sure that unmanaged clients are not overdeplyed and if they are over-deployed some sort of notification that will tell me that they are overdeployed ?

• Once i download an 12.1.x unmanaged client there is an embedded license in it for 60 days and it expires after 60 days , isn't it ? Can i make it happen that in my envoirement the unmanaged clients can only use my purchased license instead of the embedded license ?

• Can I use the same license file that acquired with the SEPM on the unmanaged clients ? How would i know that unamanged clients are not overdeployed ?
