This is a strange one. I've 2 sites. They replicate hourly and share content such as Live Update content as well as logs. Replication is working as designed and not throwing errors.
On site A, if I run a Live Update from within the SEPM it works just fine and content updates, the next replication content is shared with Site B.
On site B, replication fails with the generic 1814 can't retrieve catalog error. I've verified internet access, proxy settings, etc. It doesn't even attempt to reach out to Symantec and retrieve the data it just goes straight to the error.
Now this wouldn't be a problem and would be business as usual if the Live Update schedule would download from Site A, but for some reason it has determined that site B is where it needs to download definitions. As site B fails Live Update, the SEPMs are not getting their definitions automatically. I have to go in and download them from site A manually each day.
Any ideas? or should I just uninstall/reinstall the Live Update component on site B and see if that works?
