DB migration of lost SQL credentials

Hello,

I'd like to migrate an SQL DB but we don't know the credentials in order to detach it first, as recommended by Symantec guides. Is it enough to stop SQL service and then copy the 'sem5' mdf, ldf and ndf files over to new location?
