I have an SBS 2008 server with workstations running a mixture of XP and 7. Most of the workstations access the server via VPN although some are hard wired. The server has SEP 12.1.5 Manager installed. The server also has SEP 12.1.5 client installed. Each of the workstations has SEP 12.1.5 client installed. When the workstations are connected to the server by VPN the workstations cannot get internet access. If the workstations disconnect their VPN connection then their internet access works as normal.
If I look at the SEP 12.1.5 Client log on the server I can see that the internet connection requests coming in from the workstations are being blocked by the firewall of the SEP 12.1.5 Client running on the server.
What changes are required to the SEP 12.1.5 client running on the server in order that the internet requests from the workstations, routed through the sever via VPN are allowed through to the internet?
I've been pulling my hair out for over a week on this. Needless to say the users are livid. Can anyone suggest what the correct settings need to be in order to let internet requests to pass from the workstations to the internet?
