Can Symantec Anti-Virus for Linux scan memory, and running process

I am running Symantec Anti-Virus for Linux (savfl) version 1.0.14-3  - without autoprotect (not supported by my kernel).  Can savfl scan memory and running processes?  What scheduledscan command can I use 

Also can savfl scan encrypted drives?
