If your company has SEP integrated with SNAC running Host Integrity policies and you are using any SEP client version 12.1.4, 12.1.3, 12.1.2, 12.1.1, 12.0.x or older 11.x, the SNAC funcionality and HI policies stop working if the SEPM is migrated to 12.1.5.
All information about the SNAC says that the Host Integrity funcionality will be integrated in SEPM 12.1.5, but nothing about the loss of functionality of Host Integrity policies if you migrate de SEPM console to version 12.1.5.
Now, all our self-enforcement rules are disabled on all machines until all of them be migrated to 12.1.5.
No information about the " New Design " was included in any migration document or release notes.......
The SNAC EOL FAQ says :
"Symantec customers who require self-enforcement AND are entitled to Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 will still be able to take advantage of Host Integrity – a feature of Symantec Network Access Control..."
"Moving forward, Host Integrity, a feature of Symantec Network Access Control, will be integrated into a future release of Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP). Customers who have SEP entitlement can continue to use the Host Integrity feature."
Now the SNAC license is included in the SEP license..... but the host integrity functionality has been disabled..... until you migrate !!
( This topic NOT INCLUDES SNAC Enforcers 6100 which had been discontinued )
And Today, after several months with the new version 12.1.5 a new technical document was created : TECH227131
