Secure Communication between Client and SEPM

Hi there

Whats the difference in these 2 settings?

And is there anyway to ensure a succesfull certificate update on SEPM and 26000+ endpoints besides disabling secure communication as in first picture?

How do you ensure that all the clients have recieved a new SyLink.xml?

What happens if i reenable secure communication and all clients havent recieved a new SyLink.xml?
