Administrator Defined Scans Question

Hello,

I am a total novice knowing very little about this product. It was handed to me when my co-worker who admin'd this product quit.

I am trying to determine if implementing a daily scheduled scan from the Endpoint Protection Manager will be visible to our end users. Will users see a pop-up notification?

I do not want my users to know the scan runs everyday, it needs to be silent.

If somebody can please help answer this question I'd appreciate it, thank you.
