Hi There,
I am brand new to SEP and handed the entire environment to manage and need some help! I am running into an issue with the Email Server Settings..
We have multiple computers/devices pointing to our Exchange 2010 environment in very similar fashion that is working sending email to our network load balancing IP, so I'm wondering if there's a setting I'm missing in the SEP Management Console. We utilize network load balancing on 2 CAS servers and have Barracuda email filtering. We use port 25 for email.
1. When I use the IP of the network load balancing IP for the Server Address using Port 25 it fails. This is true whether SSL connection box is checked or unchecked.
2. When I use the IP of one of the CAS servers for the Server Address using Port 25 it fails. This is true whether SSL connection box is checked or unchecked.
3. When I use the IP of the Barracuda Web Filter using Port 25 it works! However only it works ONLY when the SSL connection box is UNCHECKED, it fails when the SSL box is checked.
4. I have verified the username/password were are using as the sender are valid.
Is there a setting on the SEP Management Console that I'm missing?
We utilize port 443 for SSL, does that need to be the port used when requiring the server to use SSL to send email? (If so that didn't work for us).
Where does this email go? Where can I specify the email address it's going too?
Any help is appreciated, thank you!
