I installed Symantec's Enpoint Protection Manager 12 on a new Server 2012 VM. Then, I started replacing SEP 11 on users computers. We had no problem on at main office. Then, we started pushing it out to our 2 branch offices. Both are doing the same thing. Sheet Set Manger in CAD 2013 isn't working correctly. It isn't allowing Sheet Set Manager to communicate properly. Sorry about the lack of description here. I'm not even close to being good with CAD. I can find out the details though if there are any questions about this. NOTE: The file server which holds most of the files that they work on is located at the main office. We allowed all traffice from server and user VLANS on SEP, but that didn't help.
Another problem that we are having in our remote offices is that the computers keep saying that they need restarted to finish the installation of SEP 12 no matter how many times you restart. The server seed them at first, but when they restart, it loses them and I haven't found a way to get them back. The computer do not update their definitions after that happens, and nothing is communicated between it and the server (at our main office). It doesn't happen all of the time though.
I imported all of the settings from SEP 11, where there was no problem with this.
Symantec support was no help. Days in trying to fix the multiple problems, and there was no progress so I am here. Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks.
