Hello,

We are using 2 SEPMs 12.1.2015.2015 RU1 (load-balancing) localized in a central site.

On each remote site we have at least one GUP which provides local updates for SEP clients.

All GUPs and clients are installed with 12.1.2015.2015 version of SEP.

We have a total of 1500 Endpoints. LiveUpdate runs correctly in the environment.

The problem is that when a computer is turned off for a long time, the virus definitions do not update very well.

My question concerns the best way to set the number of LiveUpdate contents, relating to the disk space usage.

I found a Symantec article which says that for 1500 Endpoints, we should store 30 contents on SEPMs, ok.

I would like to have also 30 contents on GUPs too. But I'm asking about the maximum cache size which is set in the LiveUpdate policy for the GUPs. By default, the maximum cache size is 500MB for 3 contents.

Please tell me if I'm right or wrong, if I want a total of 30 contents on GUPs, should I change the maximum cache size to 5GB ?

Another question, does the disk space used by updates on SEPM is the same as the one on GUPs ?

Thank you for your help.
