I'm working on a migration from SEP 11 to SEP 12. First I have upgraded the SEPM version 11 server to version 12. Then I have pushed the version 12 installer to my clients which are now all on the latest version and reporting to the upgraded version 12 SEPM server.
The last part of the migration is assigning a new SPM 12 managment server (different hostname & IP address) for the clients to report to.
I have used this tech document http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?pag... to add the new SEPM server to the Management Server List on the current Management Server with Priority 1. That all seems clear and pretty straight forward but after 5 hours none of the clients is reporting to the new server. I have tried to manually update the client policy to no avail, it keeps reporting to the old server.
Am I missing something here? Any advice is appreciated.
