If upgrading from 11.x and use Application and Device Control, disable the Application Control rule "Protect client files and registry keys." After the clients receive the new policy, AutoUpgrade can be used.
Now I don't use the rule specifically, but I have created my own rules that log read/write activity on the client files systems - would that be affected?
Also do you have to use the Tasks/Upgrade Clients with Package options or is it feesable to install a sep 12 package over the top of a sep 11 client version?
