SMC and other feature on SEP client

I've exported a client (v12) from SEPM to deploy to our users. Now I'd like to configure it.

Where can I work with the SMC service? For example setting it's password, etc... Currently SMC service has no effect, I can open Symantec Enpoint without enabling it. I had SEP version 11 previously, and I'm tryingto reverse engineer how it was setup.

And also where can I customize the feature of Symantec Enpoint Client. For example, disabling the option to "Configure Settings" for "Network Threat Protection". Is that all done in setAid.ini ?
